If you were born abroad after 16.8.1960 and at the time of your birth your father was a Cypriot citizen, or if you were born abroad after 11.6.1999 and at the time of your birth, your mother was a Cypriot citizen, you are eligible for being granted Cypriot citizen.
If you were born abroad in Cyprus or abroad before 11.6.1999 and your mother is a Cypriot citizen or you have a minor child and the father was granted Cypriot citizenship after the birth of the child, you are eligible for obtaining Cypriot citizenship.
If you were born before 16.8.1960 and you are a UK or former UK colony citizen, you live permanently abroad and you have Cypriot origins from the male side, or you were born before 16.8.1960, are not a citizen of UK or its former colonies and you have Cypriot origins from the male side, we can assist you in applying for Cypriot citizenship.
If you are an adult UK or Commonwealth citizen of Cypriot origins, you were born either before or after 16.8.1960 and you have completed a year of legal residency in Cyprus, you are eligible for being granted Cypriot citizenship.
