Mediation is a legally binding and structured dispute resolution procedure, which provides the parties of a dispute the opportunity to endeavor to resolve their dispute by themselves with the assistance and guidance of the mediator. It is important to emphasize that the parties voluntarily participate in the mediation procedure and may at any time withdraw from it and resort to judicial procedure for resolution of their dispute.

This procedure has a lot to offer to the parties, since they can set the terms for resolution of their dispute reaching a legally binding and enforceable agreement which shall be mutually beneficial for both sides. Mediation applies to civil disputes, including labor disputes, and commercial disputes, that is disputes arising between businesses or between businesses and public authorities. It does not, however, apply to criminal cases or family disputes.

KHLawLab offers medication services in civil and commercial disputes, provided by Kyriaki Hadjithoma and Stelios Hadjithomas, who are qualified and registered Mediators in Cyprus.
